Members of Delta Education Trust

Our members are the guardians of our unique ethos, values and strategic mission. Members are akin to the shareholders of a company. They have ultimate responsibility for the academy trust, with the ability to appoint and remove trustees and the right to amend the Trust’s articles of association. Members provide an additional layer of accountability and scrutinise the actions of The Board. They receive the Trustees’ Annual Report and attend general meetings of the Trust. The Chair of the Board of Trustees is also a member, thereby ensuring a link between the two layers of governance.
