Trust Structure
Multi Academy Trusts (MATs) exist to provide a structure for schools to work together more easily and in turn become more effective at what they do. Our MAT structure is designed to give our schools a high degree of autonomy and devolves much of the decision making, including staffing and finance, to Headteachers and their Local Governing Bodies (LGBs) – we believe these are the people who understand their schools best and are therefore best placed to make decisions about them. This means our Trust structure is very lean. Trust staff are there to support Headteachers and ensure that all Trust schools provide high quality education and employment by putting the needs of staff and pupils first.
